Senior Accountant
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
- Responsible for producing the monthly financial accounting package (within the Corporate published deadlines), including manufacturing KPI’s according to US GAAP rules
- Perform Balance sheet and P&L analysis, monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations including Payroll, Inventory, accruals & VAT and post the associated journals
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts throughout the year, ability to work cross functionally with department heads and non-financial leaders in the organization
- Item/Cost Maintenance for Bills of Material and Routings and assisting in the annual std cost update process
- Work order closing and analyze daily inventory transactions; explain manufacturing variances by reviewing work orders, and work with production supervisors to understand manufacturing yield
- Assist in the physical inventory count process/ aid in development and implementation of cycle count process
- Preparation of E&O provision using good judgment
- Liaising with BPO on AP, AR, Cash Mgt, Interco, SOX and Fixed Assets transactions
- Review Internal Control procedures (for SOX compliance) and assist with internal and external audits
- First point of contact for the external auditors, prepare the local Statutory accounts and assist in the preparation of the annual Corporation Tax computations.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position:
- A qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualification experience
- A good knowledge of SOX and US GAAP
- A good systems background in Oracle would be advantageous
- MS Office Suite – Advance Level
- Good interpersonal skills with experience of working in a diverse environment
- Fluent in French and in English
