About the job:
Advise on corporate governance matters, including board and committee governance, policies, and frameworks
Support board and senior management with governance-related advice and documentation
Manage entity governance across EU jurisdictions, including statutory filings and corporate records
Draft, review, and negotiate governance-related legal documentation
Provide legal support on regulatory and compliance-driven governance matters relevant to financial services
Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and internal stakeholders
Monitor and advise on developments in corporate governance and regulatory requirements impacting the business
About the candidate:
EU-qualified lawyer
5-7 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)
Strictly law firm-trained background (applications without law firm experience will not be considered)
Proven experience advising Financial Services clients (banking, asset management, investment funds, private credit, insurance, or similar regulated environments)
Strong expertise in corporate governance and company law
Excellent drafting and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English. German is a plus.
Comfortable operating in a regulated financial services environment
Confident advising senior stakeholders
Able to work independently while collaborating across functions
