Your tasks
- Data Analysis and Financial Reporting: Conduct specific analyses and controls to support cross-business operations and finance reporting
- Analyses data across multiple ERP modules to produce meaningful insights
- Create, improve, and maintain financial and operational reports using tools like Excel, Power BI and other tools (e.g. Tagetik)
- Process Improvement: Define and implement actions to optimize controlling and accounting processes
- Support the development of functional tools to streamline financial operations
- System Optimization and Development: Collaborate with IT team to define and implement system improvements, ensuring alignment with finance and business needs
- Contribute to the development of data warehouse by defining functional specifications
- Govern finance information systems and support the development and change management process
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support: Act as a bridge between Controlling and IT to ensure the seamless integration of IT strategies
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver key improvements in business and financial processes
Your skills
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or controlling, with a significant focus on data anaylsis, planning, controlling and reporting
- Proven expertise in budgeting and forecasting. Manufacturing sector experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of financial management principles and practices and IFRS accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Knowledge of some programming languages is considered a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365FO or similar), Corporate Performance Management systems and data warehouse development.
- Strong understanding of system integration, data governance, and process optimization.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional data analysis skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Strong process orientation and ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on supporting business goals through financial insights.
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory, any other language is considered as a plus.
