Your Responsibilities
Securities Accounting:
- Record and reconcile securities transactions, including purchases, sales, dividends, and interest income.
- Manage the booking of financial instruments such as stock, futures, derivatives etc.
- Ensure the seamless integration of securities accounting into the general ledger.
- Set up and implement process improvements in securities accounting tools.
Valuation and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate daily, monthly and annual valuation of securities portfolios.
- Prepare periodic investment reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform regular reconciliation of securities accounts with custodians and banks.
Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
- Prepare regulatory reports related to securities portfolios.
- Collaborate with auditors during external audits of securities accounts.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with internal portfolio managers, treasury team and finance manager to ensure smooth alignment.
- Liaise with custodians, brokers and external partners for securities accounting tools.
Your Profile:
- Higher professional education in accounting or finance.
- 5+ years of experience in securities accounting.
- Proficiency in securities trading systems and Abacus software.
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments, valuation methodologies and understanding of tax implications related to securities.
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
- Structured and precise way of working with a high level of quality awareness.
- Reliable and independent personality with high integrity with a networked mindset.
- A flexible, resilient team player who thrives in a very dynamic environment.
