Reinsurance Operations Specialist

Key responsibilitiesClaims Handling• Review and validate claims in Property, Casualty and Specialty lines of business• Interact with clients and brokers on coverage, treaty structure, and claims issues• Perform daily assessment, validation and booking of claims as well as processing payments• Collaborate with Underwriting and Reserving teams on trends and corrective measures.Technical Accounting• Support technical accounting processes and respond to accounting queries• Oversee internal controls related to technical operations• Coordinate workflows with our service provider, including account receipt, triage,verification, and reconciliation.Underwriting Support (seasonal)• Assist Underwriting and Pricing teams during renewal cycles with data input and reviewGeneral• Drive continuous process improvement and support system enhancements• Ensure data quality and build effective internal and external relationshipsWhat You Bring• Completed insurance apprenticeship or degree in business, engineering, or law• 35 years’ experience in re/insurance operations (Claims or Technical Accounting)• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills• Independent working style with team spirit• Ability to prioritize and keen to develop a broad range of skills with a "can-do" attitudeFluent English; German or French is a plus• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills• Eagerness to grow and contribute across functions jidf30fe1cbj jit0937bj jiy25bj
