Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:

• Design and implement scalable data models using Data Vault 2.0
• Build and maintain modern data pipelines in an enterprise-grade platform
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver clean, governed data
• Optimise data workflows and write advanced SQL for data processing
• Contribute to architectural discussions and mentor junior engineers
• Collaborate within a Scrum team of 6, part of a wider 350+ tech organisation

Key requirements include:

• Deep experience with Data Vault data modelling - this is essential
• Advanced SQL and Python skills; experience with large data volumes and performance tuning
• Familiarity with Databricks or similar cloud-based data environments
• Comfortable in agile, fast-paced teams; Scrum experience preferred
• Fluency in German is required (written and spoken)
