You maintain the integrity of financial information and the general ledger, covering areas such as fixed assets, reserves, payroll accounting, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other critical accounts, while ensuring accurate and complete account reconciliations.

You ensure proper bookings, balances, and reconciliations of bank accounts. You manage third-party customer accounts, including ageing reports and credit collections, while maintaining accurate accounting and reporting for Swiss and foreign VAT.
You coordinate and ensure the proper filing of tax and statutory returns in collaboration with tax advisors. You develop, review, and maintain accounting and reporting procedures to comply with local and group-level Internal Control System (ICS) requirements.
Holding a university degree in Economics, a Federal Certificate (Brevet fédéral), or equivalent studies, you bring 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, with prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm considered a valuable plus. Your strong knowledge of accounting principles (local GAAP and IFRS) and internal procedures ensures that all financial closing and internal control deadlines are met. You have the leadership skills necessary to guide an accounting team, ensuring motivation, commitment, and continuous development.
