Junior Commodity Derivative Trader

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the senior traders in managing exotic option market risk by executing swaps, futures, and options hedges
Work closely with the Sales team give market quotes and fill customer orders
Monitor the market and maintain an appropriate market risk exposure across the trading books
Support all administrative tasks related to our trading business including settling expired trades, reconciling the position, generating and analyzing

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

University degree in finance, math, computer sciences or software engineering
Strong interest in financial markets / futures market
Fluent in English and French. Spanish is a plus
Strong communication skills
The ability to work under pressure and operate independently to solve problems as they arise
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to fit in with our team
Strong mathematics and excellent excel skills.
A basic understanding of financial derivatives or option valuation is a plus
