Legal Counsel Structured Products

About the role:

• Advise on the structuring, issuance, and distribution of structured products, derivatives, and other financial instruments

• Draft and negotiate documentation including base prospectuses, termsheets, and distribution agreements

• Monitor and interpret changes in relevant regulations (FinSA, FinIA, MiFID II, PRIIPs, etc.)

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including structuring, trading, compliance, and tax

• Liaise with regulators and external counsel as required

• Provide training and legal updates to internal stakeholders

About the candidate:

• Fully qualified Swiss lawyer (admitted to the Swiss Bar)

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a leading law firm or financial institution, with a focus on structured products

• Deep understanding of Swiss and EU financial regulatory frameworks

• Excellent command of both German and English (written and spoken)

• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment
